Bedding Display

A temporary floral display which might be located adjacent to a golf clubhouse, school entrance, leisure or sports facility buildings, or similar, will contain bedding plants. These can enhance the surrounding environment for sports players, spectators, students, employees and visitors. Bedding displays are designed to appear at their best at certain times of the year, being typically categorised as either spring (sometimes also referred to as winter-spring) or summer bedding.

A large display of a few species can provide for an impressive visual impact in an area which is subject to high amounts of passing footfall, with many areas providing for sponsorship opportunities due to the large number of potential customers viewing the display. The majority of plants used for bedding displays are either easily grown from seed or can be reused for many years from their bulbs or corms, which are stored for reuse once removed from the display ready for the following year's seasonal display.
