Management Manual

A document which describes the purpose and activities involved in managing an organisation, department or service. The actual contents of a manual will varying according to the needs of the user, which might focus on health and safety; quality; sustainability; energy; environmental; operations; IT security; or may provide an overview of all aspects of an organisation, whilst each department or service has their own domain management manual in detail.
The main purpose is to document and define the various features of the activities that are carried out and to describe how they are to be achieved. An example of some of the headings, and sub-headings, for a management manual for a sports ground, which focuses on operational management of the ground might be:
