Bowling Green Maintenance: 38c. Minimal Resources and Low Club Membership

How much time can we realistically commit to maintaining the bowling green? This is a key question a club with a small membership must consider as a priority.
There may be one member who is designated as the club’s greenkeeper, whilst supported by 2 or 3 others who can be relied on as main regular inputs, and maybe another 2 members can assist for short periods.
Putting some provisional figures together for commitment hours might result in the following and this can act as an initial guide and very useful starting point:
[Key: GK = Greenkeeper; R = Regular support; S = Shorter support]

With the more limited time and also monies available to purchase materials it is essential that all work is very focused and prioritised. Once a maintenance activities estimate has been determined (which the following scenario attempts to identify), then further adjustments and requests for help can be made.
