Maintenance activities

Module overview

To ensure that a suitable football pitch is available for play there will be a range of maintenance activities that need to be carried out.

We will identify all the likely activities needed to be able to produce a suitable playing surface.

For elite and high-end professional pitches there will be some other activities carried out that are not covered here. We don’t need to concern ourselves with these other activities because they would be covered by a different course. The number of these pitches is extremely small when compared with the majority of ‘normal’ football pitches in the UK.

It is estimated at 3-hours.
