Ferro Top 6-0-12 (+6% MgO +8% Fe) + 18% S

A mini-granular fertiliser (0.5-2mm diameter) for medium to high value turf. This is produced by Compo Expert.
Ferromel 20

A product name for a water-soluble iron sulphate, containing 19.5% Fe and 27.8% SO3. The application rate is 6-25kg of material mixed into 600-1000 litres of water per hectare. It is supplied by Agrovista Amenity.
Ferrosol

A liquid organic fertiliser. 15-0-0 + 6%Fe, +4% S (+3% citric acid), (Urea N source). Application rate is suggested as 20L per hectare, with a mixture ratio of 1L of concentrate in 40 Litres of water, giving 800 Litres per ha. Produced by Aquatrols (Europe Ltd).
Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate

A product name for a damp grade of Iron Sulphate which is used for greening up and ‘hardening’ a turfgrass surface. Fertiliser Programme

A planned approach to turfgrass nutrition. Key aims of a fertiliser programme are to support the maintenance and development of a suitable turfgrass sward. Outcomes can be measured in terms of carrying capacity, durability of ground cover, density of sward, uniformity of sward, colour, extent of desirable grass species, user playing experience, playing quality such as speed / ball roll as well as traction, contribution to sustainability, cost-effectiveness, impact on disease susceptibility, impact on drought resistance, impact on weed ingress, and other measures.
