A fertiliser which is supplied in a generally rounded form; typically, being 4 to 6mm in diameter. Granules of this size will settle at the base of a turf sward, ready for being washed into the soil profile; they should not sit on the grass leaves due to their size. This type of granule is unsuitable for use on fine turf areas such as golf and bowling greens.
