Junction 
A product name for a selective herbicide, containing 2,4-D (452g/ltr) and Florasulam (6.25g/ltr) as the active ingredients, being applied at a rate of 1.2 litres of concentrate per hectare in 100-400 litres of water. It can only be applied once per year and is supplied by Dow AgroSciences Ltd.
Katana
A product name for a non-selective residual, water dispersible granule, herbicide containing the active ingredient flazasulfuron, being mainly used for pre and post emergent vegetation control on soil surfaces. It is supplied by Agrostis Amenity.
Laser
A product name for a selective herbicide, containing Cycloxydim as the active ingredient, for the control of creeping bentgrass (Agrostis stolonifera) in golf greens, having an Extension of Authorisation (EA) of use by the HSE, although each extension is time limited and needs reapplication to consider if this can continue. It has also had an EA for the control of Cocksfoot (Dactylis glomerata) in golf rough (expired December 2021). It is applied at a maximum rate of 2.25 litres of concentrate in 200 litres of water per hectare; being applied no more than once per year.
Lawn Clear RTU
A product name for a selective herbicide with the active ingredients of 2,4-D, Clopyralid, and MCPA. It is a handheld spray container of 0.75litre being suitable for small areas and spot weeding. The acronym RTU stands for Ready To Use. It is supplied by Vitax.
Lockstar
A product name for a residual, pre-emergent herbicide, containing Diflufenican (360g/kg) and Iodosulfuron (10g/kg) as the active ingredients, being applied at a rate of up to 0.5kg of material in 300-500 litres of water per hectare. It can only be applied once per year from February to June and is supplied by Bayer Crop Science Ltd.
Longbow
A make of selective translocated herbicide which contains 2,4-D (70 g/l), Dicamba (20 g/l), Mecoprop-P (42 g/l) MCPA (70 g/l). It has a maximum dosage rate of 7.5l a.i. per hectare, being applied a maximum of once per year and can control a wide range of turf weeds, including yarrow which is moderately susceptible to this herbicide. It is manufactured by Bayer.

Mogul
A product name for a selective herbicide, containing Clopyralid, Florasulam and Fluroxpyr as the active ingredients, being applied at a rate of 1-2 litres of concentrate, depending on the weed species present, in 200 litres of water per hectare; being applied no more than once per year.
New-Way
A product name for a non-selective herbicide, algicide and mosskiller containing Acetic acid (240g/ltr) as the active ingredient, being applied at a maximum rate of 25ml of product per m². The maximum number of treatments per year is 6, with a requirement for a minimum interval of 7 days between treatments. It is supplied by Headland Amenity Ltd.
Non-Selective Herbicide
A herbicide which is used to destroy vegetation on hard surfaces or soil areas prior to cultivation.
