Green-up Lawn Sand

Harmonix Tri-Nema
A blend of 3 entomopathogenic nematodes for use in the control of leatherjackets and chafer grubs (at the time of egg laying and up to their second instar stage). It consists of the 3 nematode types: Hunters cruiser nematodes which seek out to kill their prey (Heterorhabditis bacteriophora); Resident sit and wait nematodes which wait until grubs encroach into their vicinity to kill them (Steinernema carpocapsae); and Explorers which apply intermediate foraging actions between the other two nematode types (Steinernema feltiae).
HCH
A former organochlorine pesticide used in the control of leatherjackets, chafer grubs, fever fly larvae and wireworms. It could be used as a dressing on grass seeds. It was also known as Lindane (gamma-hexachlorocyclohexane (γ-HCH).
Huwa-San TR50
A product name for a disinfectant for use on hard surfaces and artificial sports surfaces. It is a liquid concentrate of 50% hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and is typically diluted to various rates, including 0.125-1% of H2O2 for disinfecting hand tools, to 1% or 3% of H2O2 for disinfecting artificial surfaces or work boots, or 0.001%-0.002% of H2O2 for irrigation system treatment. It is supplied by Agrovista Amenity.
Ice Melt
A de-icing product which contains calcium chloride in the form of water-free (anhydrous) prills. It is non-corrosive and for use on hard surfaces, being supplied by Indigrow.
Imidaclorprid
A neonicotinoid systemic insecticide that was previously used to control chafer grubs and leatherjackets, although it is no longer approved for such use. The pesticide was classed as being of high risk to bees and this, along with potential negative impact on other pollinating insects, led to its ban, losing its approval for use in 2016.
Jeyes Fluid
A disinfectant which is typically used for cleaning many hard surfaces, drains and equipment.
Lindane
A product name for an insecticide that contained the active ingredient Gamma-HCH for the control of leatherjackets but is no longer approved for use.
Lorsban T
A product name for an insecticide that contained the active ingredient chlorpyrifos for the control of frit fly and leatherjackets but is no longer approved for use.
Lumbricide
