5 Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)
Smooth leaf, with relatively pointed leaf teeth, and with a disc shaped flower. It has a preference for moist soils and those that aren’t especially acidic.

6 Knotgrass (Polygonum aviculare)
This weed is only really present on thin and worn pitches that are compacted, especially towards the end of the playing season and where inadequate renovation work has been carried out. It has a preference for drier soils or dry conditions on heavier soils.
