6.2 Turf problems and controls

3   Creeping Buttercup (Ranunculus repens)

A weed that has 3-lobes for each leaf and spreads by surface runners (called stolons). It prefers moist soils.

4   Daisy (Bellis perennis)

Possibly the most common turf weed, having small oval leaves with a disc shaped flower. It will grow in practically all soil types.
