Which one of the following statements best describes when a light rolling / firming of a medium soil-based pitch might typically take place?

Rolling or firming of a surface would mainly be considered after, or as part of, renovation, from April to June. For sand profile pitches (although these are costly to construct and maintain) this might be needed throughout the playing season to aid surface stability, especially where ground cover starts to thin.
