A drag mat can be quickly attached by three-point-linkage to a tractor, or other small power unit. These are lighter than chain-harrows, but don’t have the benefit of being able to be turned over to make use of tines.
Chain harrows would have the smooth side facing downwards (with the tines being upwards).
