Which one of the following statements is most appropriate for applying large quantities of top-dressing on a football pitch?

This is focused on renovation time, so April or May. A supplementary dressing might be considered in June, especially if planned as part of a post-renovation programme. Small amount of top-dressing material may also be used for divoting purposes over the playing season from August to May, along with sand dressings of wet or muddy areas on some pitches over the winter period.
