5.2.19 Watering / Irrigation

Irrigation that is not applied correctly at renovation time will often result in which one of the following?

Grass seed might not germinate; fertiliser might not work as well; the grass may stress and stop growing; the sward density will be reduced; weeds will be more competitive and there might be an increase in weed coverage; the pitch may not be ready for the start of the new playing season.
