Which one of the following statements is most appropriate for applying large quantities of grass seed to a football pitch?

The majority of seed will typically be applied during renovation time in April or May. Smaller quantities might be applied in June if germination and initial establishment hasn’t met requirements. Seed within divot mixes might also be applied from August to October, but this will depend on the local potential germination and growing conditions.
